Wraith's Role: A Hybrid Carry

Wraith is one of the most flexible heroes in Deadlock. She is equally strong as a gun carry built around weapon items and as a caster who invests in Spirit Power. This duality makes her comfortable for newcomers: even plain shooting gets results, while her abilities reinforce any playstyle. In lane Wraith last-hits creeps confidently, pressures the enemy and quickly stacks up souls.

Her main job is to survive the early game, gather key items and turn into a constant source of damage by mid-match. Unlike pure brawlers, Wraith prefers to keep her distance and only commits to a fight when her ultimate or her enhanced-fire window is ready.

Abilities: Card Trick, Project Mind and Full Auto

Card Trick is her core poke ability. Wraith throws charged cards that deal Spirit Power damage and clear the lane well. As it ranks up the cards build into a short burst, so it pays to hoard them before a trade rather than waste them on creeps.

Project Mind rounds out her harass: it lets her pressure opponents from range without exposing herself to return fire. In lane, the Card Trick and Project Mind combo forces the enemy to back off and lose farm, and in a fight it adds the missing burst to finish off a low-health target.

Full Auto is Wraith's signature. While active it sharply raises her fire rate and removes her reliance on reloading, turning her into a machine gun. This is her main damage window: activate Full Auto when you are already in a safe position and have a target you can shoot without interruption.

The ability scales with weapon items for attack speed, close-range damage and ammo. The more shooting buffs you stack, the more devastating Full Auto becomes. Don't waste it on a single fleeing enemy — save the window for a teamfight where you can hit several targets at once.

Telekinesis: An Ultimate for Trades

Telekinesis lifts a chosen enemy into the air and strips their ability to act. It's a perfect tool for initiation or counter-initiation: you can pull a key enemy hero out of formation, calmly focus them with the whole team or cancel an enemy ultimate. Once suspended the target is helpless, so the Telekinesis to Full Auto combo often ends in an instant kill.

Build and Timings

The basic order is early weapon items for attack speed and sustain, then survivability (bullet and spirit armor), and finally Spirit items that boost Card Trick and cooldowns. Wraith's flexibility lets you shift priorities to the enemy lineup: value the ultimate's control against flying and mobile heroes, and invest in raw weapon damage against tanks.

The guiding principle on Wraith is patience. Don't be the first into a fight — farm your items, then use Telekinesis and Full Auto in the same window to delete the enemy's most dangerous target in a couple of seconds.
